Easy
Isn't it amazing how easy it is to hate?
Hate might be too strong a word —
but isn't it remarkable
how naturally we fall into the negative?
How easy it is to say
"life is unfair"
or "God has forsaken me" —
depending on your affinity.
But what if the truth is just as simple
as the complaint?
Life is beautiful —
if only you choose to focus
on the beauty that already is.
Negativity is our default setting.
It requires no effort, no discipline, no courage.
But those who truly enjoy life
have chosen a different residence —
they refused to make the negative their permanent address.
The same default shows up with money.
I was in a debate recently —
someone insisted that money follows money.
That wealth only multiplies itself
in the hands of those who already have it.
But that is far from the truth.
There are plenty of people from poor backgrounds
who have mastered money.
And plenty from rich ones
who have let money master them.
Read that again —
mastered money,
versus made money their master.
The difference is not inheritance.
It is mindset.
It is discipline.
It is the willingness to do
what the majority will not.
Because easy is our default.
"I'll work out when I can afford a gym."
"I'll save when I earn enough."
"Money only sticks to those who already have it."
These are not truths.
They are stories we tell ourselves
to feel comfortable inside our own limitations —
to make our circumstances feel acceptable,
even inevitable.
Real change requires work.
The only question worth asking is this:
are you willing to do the work
to build your own happiness?
Because just in case you were waiting —
no one is coming to save you.
They are too busy
trying to figure out
how to save themselves.
So you had better get in the habit
of saving yourself right now,
before you become one of the many
who simply never break free of the cycle.
The exit has always been there.
It just requires you to walk through it.
